About Me
I am a chemist and chemical engineer, working in the interdisciplinary area of materials and energy.

My current research focus is building-integrated photovoltaics. I am particularly interested in luminescent solar concentrators (LSCs), which can be used as solar windows. My research on LSCs includes materials development, device fabrication, measuring methodologies, and numerical simulations. The aim is to develop low-cost, high-efficiency LSCs as well as to understand the fundamental photon transport in LSCs.

I obtained a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry in 2013 at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai, China). I obtained a second Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering in 2013 at Washington State University (Pullman, WA).
